The Air Horse BPM-50A-S is a variable-speed direct-drive screw air compressor from the BPM series, engineered for continuous operation in the most demanding industrial conditions. With a 37 kW (50 HP) motor and a free air delivery of 5.7 m³/min at 10 bar working pressure, it delivers high-volume compressed air with exceptional energy efficiency. The integrated variable frequency drive (VFD) automatically adjusts motor speed to match actual air demand, achieving energy savings of 33–35% compared to fixed-speed compressors while maintaining stable pressure control with an accuracy of up to 0.01 MPa.,The compressor features a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with NdFeB magnets, directly coupled to the screw airend without a gearbox, belts, or coupling. This design achieves mechanical transmission efficiency of up to 100% with virtually no transmission losses. The screw block offers 35,000–40,000 hours of service before bearing replacement and a total service life of 80,000–100,000 hours. The unit is enclosed in a soundproofed housing with a microprocessor control panel, pre-filtration unit, and an IE3 premium-efficiency motor with IP54 protection and independent IC411 air cooling. It is suitable for applications including automotive workshops, assembly lines, heavy engineering, sandblasting, packaging, PET blow molding, painting, and chemical processing.
