The Atlas Copco FD185 is a high-efficiency refrigerated air dryer from the renowned FD series, designed to remove moisture from compressed air by cooling it to a pressure dew point of approximately 3°C (39°F). With a rated delivery flow rate of 11,100 l/min (360 SCFM) and a maximum working pressure of 14 bar, it is engineered to handle the output of large rotary screw compressors in demanding industrial environments, ensuring clean, dry air for critical applications.,The dryer features a unique and efficient heat exchanger design that minimises pressure drop while maximising cooling performance. It is equipped with the advanced Elektronikon control and monitoring system, complete with pressure and temperature sensors, a reliable condensate drainage system, and a powerful refrigerant circuit. The FD185 is supplied completely ready for operation, mounted on its own base frame with all connecting piping and automatic condensate drain included, making installation quick and straightforward. Its air-cooled design eliminates the need for water supply infrastructure, and the use of R410A refrigerant ensures compliance with environmental standards.
